OUTSIDE the flat garden is largely lawn with shrubs and there is parking for a least 10 vehicles. The Montriond/Morzine area is famous for being part of the Portes du Soleil Ski Domain with its 650kms of pistes. 

The Ardent telecabine is 5.5 kms away and gives direct access into the heart of the domain. It’s worth noting that there is a strong summer season and a vast range of summer activities are on offer from white water rafting on the river Dranse towards Thonon, to paragliding above the local mountains. The spa towns of Thonon-les-Bains and Evian-les-Bains are 30kms down the road, where it’s possible to enjoy the Riviera feeling on the side of Lake Geneva, and all the water sports that go with it. Geneva International airport is just over an hour away (75km) and with daily flights arriving from most regions of the UK all year, it’s an easy destination not just for the traditional week’s holiday, but also for short breaks and long week-ends at any time of the year.
