The main entrance is a small SAS/ski room with automatic lights, a bench-seat, boot heater for 12 sets of ski boots & hooks for helmets.
From the sas, the entrance area is open & spacious with a warm welcoming feeling as soon as you step in. The floors throughout the chalet are a beautiful gray wood floating parquet with electric underfloor heating throughout. There are 4 double bedrooms on this level all equipped with wardrobes & en suite bathrooms all of which have automatic lights, spacious Italian showers, suspended WCs, single washbasins & heated towel rails.
The large central staircase to the main living area is an open wood & steel spiral staircase with ambient step lights. The large living room has a ½ cathedral ceiling & a wonderful freestanding wrought iron & glass Scandinavian wood burner. The two large separate double glass sliding doors open onto a full south facing balcony that runs the length of the chalet with views of the mountains.
The chalet boasts a beautiful open modern kitchen, fully equipped, set at the end of the dining area both with views overlooking the valley and mountains.
The staircase to the upstairs bedrooms is an open wooden staircase, exactly like the one below, with automatic ambient step lights.
There are two double/twin bedrooms with A frame windows, skylight, wardrobes and en suite bathrooms equipped with automatic lights, spacious Italian showers, suspended WCs, single washbasins & heated towel rails. One of these bedrooms acts as a family room as there is an additional small single bedroom (‘coin de mountain’) with a skylight.
The garage annex has automatic lighting in the hall and stairs. On the ground is level there is a small bedroom/apartment used for staff accommodation with space for a single bed and an ensuite bathroom with the shower, sink and WC. You could eventually add a tiny kitchenette if needed or turn this into an additional ski room which would be more spacious and you could then use the SAS/Ski room in the chalet as a coat and boot room instead.
The stairs down to the underground basement area are concrete & eqipped with automatic lighting. The basement is open and huge with concrete floors & automatic lights. Along the south side of the wall there are two narrow “outside” underground storage areas with sliding glass doors which allow natural lighting. There is a separate office area with a window that also has natural light but no view plus a separate WC with a washbasin.
There is another staff accommodation room with an ensuite bathroom with shower, sink & WC.
This whole underground basement area could be converted into a home spa with swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, massage room plus changing room with shower, sink and WC… or maybe you would prefer a cinema & games room?
Relax & sooth those aching muscles in the outdoor Jacuzzi after a long day skiing or cycling. The spa is tucked away disceetly in the small south facing garden with nice mountain views. There is a very small garden shed for storing shovels, pics and salt, etc. There is private exterrior parking for two cars parked 1 behind the other in the driveway plus extra street parking directly in front of the chalet.
