The chalet sits in a unique and idyllic spot high up the mountains, surrounded by pine trees and just below the Samoëns 1600 ski station. Importantly, the surrounding geography means the chalet receives several hours of direct sunshine each day, even in the middle of winter. Access is via a lane that drops down below the main route between Samoëns and the ski station. Therefore, it’s only a few minutes drive to the slopes. From there, the whole of the Grand Massif and it’s 265 km of snow-sure pistes are available to you.

The picture-perfect medieval village of Samoëns is only 10 minutes away and it takes just an hour and a quarter to reach Geneva by car.

Each bedroom has a wardrobe and chest of drawers.

On the first floor, the huge living room can comfortably seat large gatherings around the open stone fireplace. The TV snug is just off the main living area (complete with satellite TV). As is the fully fitted kitchen and laundry room plus an extra WC.

On the ground floor, you will find the games room with a pool table and table football. There is also a boot room, large storage room and WC. The separate self-contained 2 bedroom apartment is also located on this level, complete with an open plan kitchen/dining and living room area and bathroom. There is also a wood cabin with another double bedroom and bathroom – plans coming soon.

The current owner has applied for permission to add a balcony to the rear of the property, accessible from the snug area on the first floor. It would also be possible to add a full terrace that could wrap around the southern and eastern sides of the chalet to make the most of the fabulous views.

The Grand Massif is France’s fourth largest ski area and also includes the resorts of Flaine, Morillon and Les Carroz. Samoëns itself is a delightful traditional village.
