The approach to the château is along a long drive with stunning views of the Pyrénées which unfold as you get closer to the building. You will immediately notice a metal footbridge linking the château’s first-floor balcony to a lovely raised garden on the other side of the drive – and as you arrive at the château’s front door, you will see a charming bell tower at the end of the building where steps lead down to a south-facing dining terrace.
The light and airy entrance hall leads into a superb double salon which has a marble fireplace and wood panel walls which were recovered and brought back from a ruined château in Spain. Adjacent to the double salon is a smaller second salon with stairs down to the lower ground floor. From the spacious formal dining room, double doors open into the wonderful conservatory, which has marvellous panoramic views of the Pyrénées. Another set of doors in the dining room opens out to a lovely east-facing dining terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun.
On the first and second floors there are four elegant bedroom suites, each one with glorious views of the Pyrénées. Both floors have east-facing balconies - and the first-floor balcony has its own footbridge to a raised garden on the far side of the drive.
